Universal Marine Center has been proud to share its refit shipyard and repair expertise center totally renovated in 2016 with Mega Yachts. Located in the marine area of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, our shipyard offers luxury care for luxury ships looking to make port on Marina Mile. With a conscientious staff, a plethora of storage, and state-of-the-art repair facilities, you’ll know that your yacht will be treated with the utmost care when it’s parked in one of our berths.

Amenities & Facilities

We provide a number of amenities such as 24/7 security, parking, Wifi, meeting room, tiki hut BBQ, and our new cafe/bistro, convenient location close to the airport and downtown & beaches that are designed to make your time at our dock as stress-free as possible. Look to the UMC staff in order to dispose of your yacht’s more hazardous materials.

Innovative

Our fully renovated marina has the capacity to store 40 yachts of sizes 60' to 190', though we specialize in larger vessels. While docked, we can provide power 480v, water and garbage disposal as well as a range of other services to make your life as easy as possible, such as our new Tender Services department. Innovation is at the heart of everything we do and with our brand new, fully functioning Marina, captains can expect the highest quality level of service from booking a place to completion of the work.

Refit & Repair

What you’ll really want to take advantage of, though, is our newly-renovated, state-of-the-art repair facility. No matter what kind of service your yacht needs, we’ll be able to provide it through our onsite contractor or our preferred contractors.

UMC is in a prime location and is conveniently positioned near Fort Lauderdale airport as well as some great local beaches. There’s free WiFi available throughout the whole marina and we also have a meeting room available for any crew discussions or other business that may need to take place during your stay.
